A light flicker analyzer helps in detecting flicker and also displays safe limits. It’s typically a portable piece of equipment that measures percent flicker, flicker index, and fundamental frequency.
This helps manufacturers determine whether an LED or luminaire under development is within safe limits as defined by industry standards. The instrument usually consists of a high-speed photometer head to capture high-speed waveforms. A detachable computer panel might also be available with the analyzer for user operation at their convenience.
